1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, phone number), booking diagnostic tests (health test selections, appointment details), and using our platform (device, usage, location data for lab discovery).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to process bookings, deliver diagnostic reports, send appointment reminders, improve platform quality, and comply with applicable health data regulations in India including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA).
3. Health Data
Diagnostic reports and health metrics are treated as sensitive personal data. We do not sell or share health data with third parties except the lab fulfilling your booking. All reports are encrypted in transit and at rest.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with: (a) the laboratory you book with, (b) payment processors (PhonePe) to complete transactions, (c) communication providers (SMS/WhatsApp) for OTP and notifications, and (d) cloud infrastructure providers under strict data processing agreements.
5. Your Rights
Under DPDPA 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@co-labs.in.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained for 3 years after your last activity. Health reports are retained for 7 years as required by medical record regulations. You may request deletion of non-essential data at any time.
